During my Nurse Educator practicum experience with Dr. Karen Doherty at Curry College, I had the invaluable opportunity to assist second-year BSN students in their Medical/Surgical class. Under Dr. Doherty's guidance, I actively facilitated learning experiences, offered support, and fostered a collaborative environment conducive to student growth. Through hands-on teaching and mentorship, I developed my skills in curriculum development, test evaluation, and student assessment. Working alongside Dr.Doherty provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the multifaceted role of a nurse educator. It gave me the confidence and competence to excel in this dynamic field.
